Photo Restoration

Proving to be very popular, is the restoring of old vintage style black and white pictures to near modern-day clarity. Of course, this service isn’t confined to just vintage photos, even modern-day pictures may need some sort of correcting.

In addition, I offer a black and white to colour service!

Photo Restoration is difficult to price due to not knowing the amount of work required, but so that you know what to expect, I have put a price list together below which I believe is very competitive. However, if I know a photo is going to be exceptionally difficult, I will let you know.

Also, don’t let a small photo put you off as I can digitally restore and enhance to whatever size you require with near perfect clarity. I have even worked on a passport sized picture (35 x 45 mm) before now, enlarged to A4 (210 x 297 mm) with perfect results.

Once I have completed working on your photo, I will then email you a low-resolution watermarked version for your approval (you only pay if you are happy with the results)

When you are happy, I will then send you a link to download the full resolution version.

Prices start at £15.00 for a picture that requires minimal (Low Level) restoration with an extra £5.00 for colour conversion.

Price includes a digital version that can either be returned to you via email or from a Dropbox link.

For an extra £7.50 (inc. P&P UK only) I will print onto A4 sized Premium Photo Paper and include a stylish black picture mount.

Photo Restoration Low Level processing:

· Mild dust removal

· Mild Scratch removal

· Basic Colour correction

· Minor fade correction

· Straightening

· Cropping

· Light damage to none priority areas

Hand delivered service.

If you live within the Shepton Mallet area, I will even hand deliver at no extra cost. However, for this service I would need payment up front, but, if you are not happy once you see the picture, I will provide a full refund.

Scanning - Instructions for you

1. Make sure your scanner glass is dust and dirt free.

2. Scan your picture at 600dpi (300dpi minimum) in JPEG format.

3. Email the file as an attachment to [email protected] along with a short message explaining your requirements.

4. Make sure the size of email stays below 25mb.

No scanner, no problem. Simply post your photo to me (at your own risk) I could also collect if you’re local to Shepton Mallet.
